We've had a full couple of weeks. I guess every week is full isn't it? We enjoyed having Daddy home for a couple of days and decided it was time to switch some rooms around. Boys together and girls together. That meant new bunkbeds... so a little lesson in building went on this morning :)
Matthew happily "tightened" the screws for us. He never grew weary of this task. Who needs toys?
Then Friday we had a "snow day"! OK, every day is as snow day here in Fort Mac, but we had special friends over and Daddy took them all quadding/sledding.
(We did manage a wee bit of book work in the afternoon)
Joshua was one of two players selected from his travel team to play in a match against the Arctic Winter Games team. HUGE honor. He played his heart out in the first half and unfortunately in the second half his knee decided he was done. Joshua has been diagnosed with Osgood Schlatter's disease and it has really been a challenge to push through a full game. He's been taking it easy, with lots of icing and stretching to prepare for their first tournament next month. Physio starts this week too in hopes for some relief.
Yeah.... couldn't get a great photo with my camera, just shows you how fast paced the game was *wink*.
Love the building pic of Matthew, such concentration! Keep care of that knee Joshua, Mr.Smith feels for you as he fought the same thing in high school basketball. It seems all great athletes have to keep tabs on something eh? smile
